In 2003, me and a very close friend of mine Michael Wiscavage founded M & R Construction Services Inc. The majority of our days were spent doing high quality residential finish work on homes around the Puget Sound Area. After a couple of years in business we decided to close the doors on the company. Soon after, I started installing warehouse shelving, remodeling office spaces, cleaning out large facilities and helping lease warehouse spaces. Helping big and small businesses thrive is what I really enjoyed. In 2005, I decided to hire on with a small used pallet racking outfit as a business to business sales rep to get a better feel for what the industry was really all about. During that time I acquired a large amount of friendly contacts and built some very strong relationships with all of my customers and vendors.

By the end of 2007, I had already closed the largest sale the company had ever had at the time by successfully outfitting a 500,000 sq ft warehouse with just under half a million dollars in product ranging from racking to dock boards all the way down to some of the equipment. At that moment, I realized that helping businesses perform was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. Whether it was setting the first row of racking in a moms and pops outlet store or helping turn a 100,000sq ft warehouse into a 700,000sq ft warehouse, helping businesses of all magnitudes with there storage solutions would play a key role as a career in my life.

In 2008, with the turn of the economy and the struggles the entire world was in, I decided to part ways with my former employer and start a company that would supply my customers with more honesty, more integrity, a functional and much more affordable product, along with some good old fashioned customer service that a lot of American businesses had lost throughout the years.

Founded by Robert R. Smith in 2009, Warehouse Solutions Northwest merged a large wealth of experience, skill, and a team of ambitious professionals

into a special company that has already earned a remarkable reputation as one of the leading material handling companies in the Northwest. With the staff’s expertise and networking capabilities, we have created an unbeatable force in what most would say is a very competitive industry. We promised at the time we decided to launch Warehouse Solutions Northwest that we would always operate with a quality foundation of unwavering ethics and quality workmanship.
